Ghiblification of my afternoon with my son, he chose to watch Mary and the Witch’s Flower. It’s the first film produced by Studio Ponoc, founded by former members of Studio Ghibli. And what about you, what’s your favorite recent Ghibli film?

Studio Ponoc was created in April 2015 by Yoshiaki Nishimura, along with former collaborators from Studio Ghibli, including director Hiromasa Yonebayashi. The studio’s name comes from the word “midnight” in Serbo-Croatian, “ponoć,” symbolizing the “beginning of a new day.”
