Yesterday, I briefly visited X. The artists were frustrated because they weren't selling any of their art. When I mentioned that we were still building on Warpcast, someone responded with 'Oh, the app is still working'. The overall mood there is quite negative.

The art space on X has been feeling increasingly toxic over the last year or longer. Sad to see that many artists there are holding on to the “we’re still here” badge as some kind of medal of honour, rather than trying new platforms and strategies.

I spent 3 years on X and nobody answered me, hardly any artists. They stick together and only talk amongst themselves. When they were here, they answered me because I have followers, but they left and now on X again, they don't respond to me anymore. It's unimaginable. I spent 6 months on Warpcast and sold over 10k works to more than 400 collectors. Yes, it's becoming increasingly difficult to sell works, but I still have passionate collectors ☺️.

I think your algorithm might be biased; I really don't see as much negativity in mine. Also, many artists don't have the time to use more than one social network, and some don't use any at all. Additionally, the interest in art on Warpcast seems to have declined quite a bit, really

Agree, I hade the same experience, and if i share something there it gets maybe 3 likes, but in return I get spams bots and annyoing content :D
