Angel Falls is the world's highest waterfall, located on the Churún River, a tributary of the Caroní, in the tropical forests of Venezuela, within Canaima National Park, about 750 km southeast of Caracas. It descends from Auyán-tepui Mountain. The total height of the waterfall is 979 meters, with a free fall of 807 meters.
