building a full featured general client like WC is a huge lift rather than this, maybe a better approach is an open source private channel library that anyone could embed in their own FC client? know anyone who might want to work on that?

casts would be encrypted in a client before sent to the protocol only client with the right access could decrypt them

any future for gated channels where casts are private at the protocol level? direct casts is one option, but has a number of ux drawbacks
