the word ‘stablecoin’ feels off. explained it to someone new to crypto today and it didn’t really land. 

but “onchain dollars that are fast, global, and fully yours”? that clicked immediately.

Onchain dollars (euros, yen, etc) does seem better 

Today, we don’t talk about JPMC dollars or Evolve Trust dollars or Navy Credit dollars even though deposits at each bank are all actually different things with different counter party risk

What’s amazing about onchain dollars is that they unbundle money from the bank so a fintech can provide cash management and spend services and we can aggregate counterparty risk into larger entities that might be higher trust
