Auto-deleting messages and decentralization are an incorrect fit. Don’t enforce memory policy centrally. The edges know their context best.

Sure, but the devil is in the default. No one wants permanent messages anywhere anymore. Auto-deleting is the best default now.

definitely, devil is in the default but with open data, what exactly does auto-delete do? anyone with a signed copy of the data can prove it's yours perhaps this is the case for pseudonymity
