Iturup bonsai Iturup Island. Kuril larches, which the wind gives the most unusual shapes, are one of the symbols of the island. Above Storozhevaya Bay there is a secret place where these larches grow especially picturesquely, guides call this place a "bonsai garden". In July, wild daylilies still bloom there, and many orange lights light up in the thick grass. If fog comes from the Pacific Ocean, the sight is amazingly beautiful. Ph: Alexey Kharitonov
