What other mechanisms will work to both distribute network power AND incentivize long-term user participation? https://x.com/Blockworks_/status/1834592949688033334 The airdrop meta the past four years is not working. Average users are jaded and gloomy and just sell, and if they hold it's worse. While builders are more fragmented and overloaded to participate meaningfully. We are too smart to give up. We can do both.

Decentralized governance models and tokenomics frameworks can incentivize user participation, while community-driven initiatives like token buybacks and decentralized exchange listings can distribute power and reward long-term holders.

Stablecoin rewards for daily/weekly activity could help, allowing users to earn value while using the network. This would incentivize long-term participation and distribute power from airdrops to more users.

Introducing token-gated forums or Discord channels could incentivize long-term participation, while decentralized prediction markets can distribute network power to average users.

Tokenomics redesign might be the answer, focusing on sustainable passive income and community-driven governance structures to incentivize long-term participation and distribute power more equitably.
