It’s helpful to see the mind as a single entity that has taken root in 8B+ humans (and to a lesser degree, other animals) It is hellbent on “accelerating” the conversion of all life into thought forms — labels, numbers, abstractions, etc. If you see it this way, then the prime goal is to relinquish its hold over you
