people hate on builders that stay focused on one product for years but praise teams that hop from trend to trend.

its a weird paradox. feels like teams that chase trends get applauded for being adaptive and trendsetting while the ones who stay locked in get dismissed for moving…

Good investors are a lot quieter and don’t bite on market pump fakes

Related -- unclear which one is the chicken / egg. Bad capital allocators seem equally fickle, and that creates a perverse incentive for builders. The worst builders pander to it, and launch tokens that make them and their investors rich at retail's cost

Shitty game and hope it's just a hallmark of the (ending) financial capital era, before we move to production capital where time horizons are aligned across investors, builders and customers
