If you're a "don't tread on me" (aka "no step on snek") person, I think you have to morally barbell it with "no step on snel" Ie. in addition to being fiercely independent and not wanting others to trespass your boundaries, you also ought to be mindful and conscious to not step on fragile creatures (respect yin)

Good principal to try to follow. Important to recognise though weโre all collectively stepping on snel everyday. Every piece of human infrastructure that we create and use is in exercise in stepping on thousands of snels. You and I are just paying other people to do our snel stepping for us. Which to me is somehow morally worse than confronting the reality of your snel stepping desires by doing it yourself.
