Creating something from nothing is like exchanging one’s well being for tangible real world things that were previously only imagined

The cost of bringing the imaginary into the real is life energy 

At least then, life energy is being used for something rather than nothing

How do you know you are using your life energy?

Usually it involves the expenditure of some sort blood, sweat, tears, and things that make your hair go gray

The usual suspects: stress, death, loss, love, getting old, having kids, losing parents, losing friends, loving friends, annoying boss, annoying neighbor

I’ll add an infrequently discussed suspect: caffeine
