There’s a deep cultural trauma around collectivism. When people hear socialism or communism, they think of failed authoritarian regimes and for good reasons. Those who claimed to practice them have often created systems that lead to oppression & economic failure.

This is at the core of CT’s recent trauma dump -- many in the crypto space have escaped state violence and have an autonomous response to it

As a result, they struggle to hold space for criticisms of private wealth and power concentration, precluding further individual and collective evolution

Yo I think you’re sugar coating communism 

The ratio of good to bad done is firmly in capitalism’s favor

Also the point was to not get trapped in lower dimensional space by a false dichotomy

Capitalism: slavery, poverty, imperialism, colonialism, genocides, hundreds of millions killed, forced labor, healthcare as a luxury, medical bankruptcy, a few Oligarchs stealing half of all human wealth, leading humanity to extinction 
Communism: censored some people, beurocratic and logistical problems, violence against mostly fascists
Rich crypto KOLs: clearly communism is the great evil of the world, if you disagree you're a parasite
(I think there's more wrong with their thinking than some trauma)
