Agree, though IMO it's less about speculation and more about high churn/short duration games. It's unsurprising that they can get really popular really fast, but it's the furthest thing from a reliable long term commitment.

I agree strongly, I've even spoke to great lengths about this phenomenon (albeit had no idea this framework existed or was explicitly outlined the way it is or that this article suggested it was an inevitability for crypto), but the one thing I ask as an open question: what parallel in history had a case where a titan existed during the left side of the curve also existed and was a titan during the right?
