current level of based: at a fintech summit where there is almost zero talk about blockchain (exception: @coinbase akash shah). impossible not to think "wow, all of this — payments, transfers, investment management, everything — will be onchain in the coming years" feels like a secret that shouldn't be a secret

to temper this a bit, all of that is contingent on having strong privacy primitives. Companies will not want to put payroll for example on a chain until it is private privacy as a category is a bit of a quagmire right now, so don't know that this gets solved in the coming years
