common pushback against nuclear is that nucleur is only economical for countries without sunlight and fossil f that are industrial(izing) what's the argument against that pushback @julia or if anyone knows

most countries don't have large supplies of fossil fuels and the sun doesn't shine at night

I guess I'm asking about the US specifically I'm pro nucleur cause I'm kind of a meathead but can't quite respond when people say we have sunlight+batteries, oil, GNC and aren't industrial

Energy density — why store your energy in chemical bonds (electrons) when you can use nuclear bonds? It’s same argument to be made about urban housing vs rural — one scales much better

what does that help with tho? is it more economical? >scale the argument is that we don't need much more electricity rn. i disagree cause i want to reindustrialize and AI overlord take over. but that's not here rn.
