Because Zone2 will bring you better VO2max and thus longevity. zone3/4 just bring stressor to your body.

are there any proof to that? highest VO2 athletes are cross country skiers, rowers cyclists.. they spend hours in zone 3-4 each day.

sorry did you realize that this channel is called "longevity"? No offence, but I don't give a shit what athletes do besides the fact that their quality of life is very bad and much shorter than non-athletes who simply do fitness.

I was talking of HR zones to increase VO2 and pointed out that ppl with highest VO2 might not spend significant amount of time in Zone 3-4 and Zone 2 is more a comfortable way to get an OK number of VO2. Yes, elit athletes die early, but probably not due to high VO2 Max..
