Got another open-source library for everyone. This time we’ve tackled Drag and Drop. - Data-first: no direct DOM manipulation - Lightweight - ~4kb min-gzip - Written in TypeScript — usable in any JS application - Supports plugins! - Production-ready — used on FormKit drag-and-drop.formkit.com

The fact that this prefix content is just text to show the dynamic positioning is probably a miss. Generally the prefix / suffix slots would be used for additional controls.

That’s a really good point — and users could easily do that with some handlers. But we can’t make it the default because sometimes you need actions on the prefix content that don’t focus the input so then you’d have to fight against FormKit.

Shouldn’t be! There’s “prefix” content in some of these inputs but they are not labels.

Question for the room — are `channels` specific to each app or are they part of the underlying Farcaster protocol? If I spend Warps to create a channel is that just for Warpcast's experience or does that channel exist across all apps built on top of Farcaster?

It's amazing how much work it takes to support something that you probably shouldn't do. But — the FormKit floating labels plugin now supports arbitrary prefix content as of 1.5.4: https://formkit.link/76c4b4052d1f224a895783604fe58937

Anyone planning on going to VueConf.us in New Orleans this year? I'll be there with the FormKit team.

I guess we’ll probably also have to wait a while for that edit button — just like Twitter.

No idea it would go wide. No idea of this will go wide either, but I think it’s cool and I imagine if I had to explain it to a lecture hall full of my peers there would be some audible laughter.

I remember standing up in a lecture hall and trying to explain Twitter to my classmates in 2007 when called on by our professor who asked, “who can explain what this Twitter thing is for everyone?” Some audible laughter at the idea. A few kids thinking it was cool and asking me more after class.
