I remember standing up in a lecture hall and trying to explain Twitter to my classmates in 2007 when called on by our professor who asked, “who can explain what this Twitter thing is for everyone?” 

Some audible laughter at the idea. A few kids thinking it was cool and asking me more after class.

No idea it would go wide. 

No idea of this will go wide either, but I think it’s cool and I imagine if I had to explain it to a lecture hall full of my peers there would be some audible laughter.
