Expertise reversal effect is by far the biggest challenge in acquiring new skills. By the time you are ready to help others, you’ve usually forgotten the newbie struggles that represent the largest chasm. In highschool I had an idea of a keyboard that shows the text on an embedded lcd screen, so you don’t need to move your eyes from the keyboard as you search for letters. Obviously the moment you learn to type, this is totally unnecessary and there are much better techniques to do this, but it demonstrates how your mind changes with knowledge. Teaching kids to shoot a basketball is similar as they don’t have the strength needed for proper technique and a coach needs to be both very specialized and ready to aim for the long term success (loosing games) for optimal development. This is not changing anytime soon on scale, but a beautiful life hack for those with time and means. Open University is working on AI tutors that use blockchain based knowledge graphs (Origin Trail) and that might be the way.

My bank sort of does it for me by blacklisting apple semi regularly. Suggested workaround is to guess when the subscription will try to process the payment and have the one hour window set for the time. I kid you not. Other option is to cancel all protection, but that means no recovery or insurance. We need crypto.

I believe that the capacity to discuss serious challenges and address them is a feature. Centralized winners of the game of decentralization were always going to be a critical part of the equation. No duct tape or magic wand will change that, yet Ethereum weathered through worse before. Decentralization comes at a cost

18-55 is really cheap and widely available and I do use it with the exact camera (I have a lot of lenses though). So it’s possible for 500 as a pair, but you will inevitably spend more on lenses. 35 1.8 prime also pairs well. If you are ready for bulkier all arounds Tamron 18-400 also gives great results ☺️

Used Nikon d500 is just great overall as f mount lenses got really cheap with the z taking over ☺️ It’s not necessarily beginner per se and is still used by professionals for wildlife, but you did say “lenses” 😅
