Hey man, would love to understand your 'no' vote on this when purple gave you 15%~  of their own treasury (less than their ask of Builder) for your own project? I see your reasoning and on face value seems fair to me, but doesn't address the above optics. Want to assume best intent  🙏

Totally. Purple funded BotFrens <> Farcaster integration - which we delivered and have been improving ever since. I am member of the Purple DAO and want it to succeed. My vote didn't have to do with the treasury % or Purple's integrity. I am happy to vote for the 50E grant if the prop is reworked.

In addition to the reason I shared in the vote: The Builder DAO is a US entity subject to tax and reporting requirements. The proposal in it's current form does not meet the US reporting requirements and passing it could have significant consequences for both DAOs. @michaelwang

I am not sure about all Nounish DAOs but the Builder DAO is a Wyoming UMA. I was not aware of the implications until very recently.

Considering this is a risk for all Nounish DAOs—and will always remain a risk, why participate in them at all? Given your beliefs, it seems to me that you are playing with fire.
