Is it still the case that removing a signer key will also remove all content created with it? Or has that changed? In my opinion, this design is quite poor, as no user expects or wants that. Technically, it should be possible to keep the content, so that's why I am asking to know if anything has changed on this front.

It is. As far as I know, the idea is that snapchain will allow us to fix this, since having ordered messages will let us "pause" a signer without affecting the messages that came before the pause.

That's good to hear I don't know if in practice it works like that and we can't test until the backwards compatibility with hubs is stopped. I really hope removing signer will not remove the content also, I'll test that when hub compatibility will be stopped.
