So you say buttrfly.app has support to add a Warpcast signer for an account that has a fid already, using an external wallet? 

Because that's what's happening in the video a waprcast signer is created not a app signer is a bit different.

A warpcast signer is a signer that is used by warpcast on mobile and desktop.

In the past there were some apps that created warpcast signers (flink), but they were sunsetted, I am not 100/100 sure only WC can create WC signers.

But would be better if any app can create a WC signer for better interoperability.

you're right. i'm referring to buttrfly being able to create a signer for buttrfly for that account using an external wallet.

only warpcast can create warpcast signers.
