When frames were created in the first place I was asking why not use iframe directly since it's much more performant than transporting pictures using REST. Anyway, as long as people stick to the dimensions, and don't do crazy stuff inside the iframe, it should be better performance-wise, now if ppl load a 30MB WASM that's another story.
