Another linguistics note:

Has anyone else noticed how eliding the subject (in this case "I") seems to have become more and more acceptable in English over the last 10 years?

Wonder if anyone has written about this trend.

Like somebody else mentioned I guess this is a function of character limits. 

From my experience is pretty rare and just because Elon does it doesn't mean it has reached the acceptable status.

The fact that I learned for the first time of this acronym is telling that is very dependent on the circles of people you interact with.

But to be fair what I've noticed is that many crypto communities are the places where acronyms are born with the fastest velocity.

I think it's more common than we  tend to notice. Even acronyms, eg. "omw" = "on my way", have subject elision buried in them (no "I" or even "am" in there)
