Since I did work a bit with SWIF, and I added it to my wallet which is available on ethereum.org, wallet connect, and alchemy, and was always open source for a few years, I did come up with some thoughts for the Farcaster Connect FIP. IMO will be good to open that up and rebranding is essential for that, the scheme with so many steps does not seem like a good UX choice IMO. can I use this to use SIWF without the warpcast app? (if so, that'd be amazing)

For SIWF v1 you can without the Warpcast app but you'll still call Warpcast API, the code is in the clear wallet repo to do that, and you could do that without with most wallet libs as long as you have the custody PK of the fid. In v2 ( Farcaster Connect ) the whole Warpcast dependency both as an app and as infrastructure should disappear, but I have my doubts the protocol is very well thought out, from my perspective, it has unnecessary steps and could be simplified a lot, but left my thoughts there on GitHub discussions. Anyway, once v2 is out I'll try to integrate it also.
