🚨Important update on @farcaster_xyz Hubs

💻Seems like after my post large number of new nodes (hubs) added to network

✅Usually more nodes helps network
✅Our intention was to help the network in return of some network rewards

🫠But it's creating delays in messages for farcaster

A sufficiently decentralized social network. farcaster.xyz

Is because how gossiping is structured a lot of unsynchronized hubs will create pressure over network.

At some point earlier in the protocol only whitelisted hubs were allowed but that changed. 

IMO becat how gossiping now works farcaster won't be very scalable.
