Won't hubs be deprecated pretty soon? You might need to use a Snapchain node, which might be a bit more expensive than a hub.

Plus you would also need some basic indexing, even if the client is light, that is if you want feeds, and notifications.

Main barrier is that it will have a significant cost and also cost it will scale up with the number of users.

And I’m aware, have built various farcaster indexers specifically for this use case in the past!

I think lazily indexing selected parts of the network that you are interested in is a key part of the solution
