Login with any wallet is an important aspect of any web3. 

On Warpcast, I think the only way that is appropriate is to be able to use an arbitrary wallet because forcing every app to be a wallet exposes the user to more security risks, and dep-linking to pegged application is more of a 2FA web2 flow.

Other wallets are able to support Farcaster but don’t expect that in the near term

What I really wanted to express is that if a user loaded up his farcaster mnemonic into an arbitrary wallet, (to not sign for every cast) that wallet should be able through a request to delegate a signer. And maybe that is even possible right now. I haven't tried. In that flow you don't need a mobile device.
