I'm trying to decide whether it's worth going to DevCon. I've also been accepted to a hacker house that would cover accommodation and have some on-site activities. Challenges: - It's a difficult trip from Berlin to Bangkok: $1200 for a 13-hour flight, and only 2 weeks' notice. - In December, I plan to leave Berlin for a few months and travel through Asia anyway. - Iโ€™ve already been to hacker houses and wouldnโ€™t say it was a life-changing experience. Also, almost every crypto conference has opportunities like that. Reasons to go: - Iโ€™ve found connecting with other builders far more valuable than just attending conferences and side events - Living together with builders could be even more valuable

Besides the professional benefits, itโ€™s going to be great for mental health too โ€” lots of new places, side events, travel, and even some time to recharge. I can help you with planning; Iโ€™ve already mapped out over 100 interesting spots on Google Maps near the venue.
