I think an award opens up different opportunities than a nomination

Nominations are good for press and also adds a bit of traction to all future Posters / Cover images (you'll often see this on youtube cover images that showcase the awards / nominations a film or content has received)

I do think now that there is a full "first act" of the film, there is more opportunity for director interviews / press stories that could be beneficial

Would you say Oscar nominations are as much about press as Oscar awards?
