solana is interesting—looking for cheaper options to build unlonely on - optimism polygon and base as well but I never gave solana a chance bc I was swept into the eth maxi mindset last year. a lotta of the things I cared about which made me dislike solana don’t really matter as much now I’m realizing thoughts?

It’s a L1 and has a EVM compatible network named Aurora built on it too. Apparently curve is building on it as well.

They also could be considered a side chain of eth as much as polygon, but much more scalable. Better in all the factors that I have looked at.

Interesting, thanks for sharing that. I’m tinkering with it and so far it’s been fun. Love their JS support as well.

I am tinkering as well. I am not very good at Javascript, but I can probably rely on someone like you for that. There is so much there it's hard to get into details. So i am starting high level and working down

I’m a self-taught + GPT 4 enabled programmer myself. Although I’m tinkering with a friend of mine who’s more of an expert. The keypom library is very interesting to what we’re trying to do and the idea of ‘trail accounts’ is very exciting too

Also did you know that the founder at Near (Illia Polushkin) was one of the AI researchers at Google who first talked about "transformers" which gave rise to things like chatgpt. He is named on the original research paper: https://ai.googleblog.com/2017/08/transformer-novel-neural-network.html

The whole Near ecosystem looks amazing to me. I think that making onboarding to crypto easy is one of the main keys to mainstream adoption. They seem to doing a lot of things that I havn't seen elsewhere. I would really like to have some talks here around Near/aurora, but most people havn't heard anything.
