good designers copy. great designers steal. users spend most of their time on other apps. they prefer if yours works the same way as the other apps they already know. don’t reinvent the wheel.

Altho it might be a good idea to validate that what other apps are doing is actually ok. Just because users have a bad routine it doesn’t mean they won’t be open to improvements.
