Twice Heroes of Capitalist Labor 1. During the pandemic, some people found an unexpected way to earn more. They started working remotely in two full-time positions at different companies simultaneously—managing to handle all their work tasks. 2. This phenomenon has been dubbed "overemployment." The pandemic is over, but overemployment continues to gain popularity. Naturally, these individuals keep their dual employment a secret from their employers. 3. But why keep it a secret? 😉 After all, it can be beneficial for employers too. At the very least, by working two jobs, employees gain twice the experience, which helps them perform their tasks more effectively. But there's an even more important reason. 4. The main problem for modern companies is high employee turnover. As a result, companies lose a lot of money finding new employees to replace those who leave. They also lose efficiency while new employees get up to speed.

5. One of the main reasons for resignations is that employees feel underpaid. One salary isn't enough! But if they were earning two salaries by officially working two jobs and completing all their assigned tasks—why would they leave companies that allow them to earn twice as much? 😉 6. Opponents of overemployment argue that a person can't continuously work 80 hours a week, dedicating 40 hours to each job. But is that really necessary? After all, as Steve Jobs famously said, "It's not about working 12 hours a day, but about working smart!" 7. This raises an amusing question—what are companies paying for? 40 working hours a week or results? If it's about results, why would they be against overemployment? 😉 Especially if it helps retain such a smart employee. 8. Would you let your employees work two jobs? Or would you start paying them twice as much? 😉
