Find Time to Worry in Peace 1. The simplest way to deal with anxiety is to start doing something. This kind of switch "distracts" from the feeling of anxiety. That's why, for example, we throw ourselves into programming when we feel anxious about poor sales of our product. 😉 2. However, as Jeff Bezos said, "When I start to worry, I realize it's a warning. It means something is starting to happen that I haven't yet consciously realized — but I can already feel it on a subconscious level." But when we start doing something, we ignore this warning. Until it grows to such a size that doing something becomes pointless. ☚ī¸

3. Now I understand why Jews are so smart 😉 Because they have "Shabbat" — Saturday, when they are forbidden to do anything, whether it's work, household chores, or personal tasks. And all they can do is worry — "Am I doing the right thing?", "What else can be done?" With such a routine, like it or not, you'll get smarter — because every week, for a whole day, you have nothing to do but think and worry since you can't switch to any task. 4. Everyone probably remembers Steve Jobs' advice: "You need to work not 12 hours a day, but with your head." But to work with your head, you need to allocate time for it. And 5 minutes before bed is clearly not enough. But one day a week is just right. 5. So, shall we start observing the Sabbath? Or what — as usual, "so much to do, so much to do," that there's no time to worry? 😉
