I sometimes struggle to determine if an account is a bot or just someone who isn’t fluent in English. I get stuck in a limbo of not wanting to ignore a real person and not wanting to be an idiot for talking to a bot. I didn’t think it would come this quickly. It also makes it off putting to use Farcaster.

For now, but they will only get better at imitating how humans communicate online 😅

It's true that I use translators a lot, so sometimes it's weird. But bots don't usually make punctuation mistakes, for example

Yeah I am thinking of just taking the ego hit of accidentally chatting with bots haha.

I thought of this too! But then figured it also probably isn’t hard to set one up for the bot before letting it free into the e-world.

One thing I'm noticing is bots don't really add anything to the conversation and usually just convey some sort of empty sentiment or nicety. So I don't respond to those, bot or not
