I've heard a lot of praise for Polygon BD lately and a reason why Polygon will win. Curious: what makes Polygon BD better than Avalanche and Solana BD? These ecosystems seem to be pretty intentional about their buildouts as well.

Think avalanche also great but it’s a diff focus. Polygon has great consumer Web 2.0 BD (Meta partnerships etc). Avalanche: Great Wall Street BD (KKR deal etc) Solana: ?? HFT firms via Pyth?

Polygon BD spans across consumer-enterprise (Coke/Starbucks), crypto-native teams, and gaming — and is very intentional marketing those partnerships and brand (purple!)

polygon took the genius position of (1) coupling very closely with the EF on research + grants, (2) claiming to "scale ethereum" while driving value to the MATIC token, (3) spend their capital very efficiently

My thought was the way they probably hired non web3 talent and empowered them with web3 education so they can reach out to past companies they have worked at.

For us, they feel like partners. Very proactive and generous with intros and PR. They don't stop the conversation at getting us to deploy, that's the starting point for them. Excellent to work with.

Polygon - better partnership play. Apart from gaming, their ecosystem play is limited VS Sol or Avax. Sol and Avax are more ecosystem play. So it’s within web3. Therefore PR wise, mainstream media will talk more about Poly due to big names they sign up -meta,SB et Al.
