What is our current strategy? Grow the number of daily active users on the social network 1. Differentiation 2. Growth mechanics 3. Infra for more users 4. Content *** 1. Lean into what makes Farcaster different: that’s onchain UX through frames and wallet 2. Grow users: continue to iterate on invites and incentives like rewards (which are paid out onchain, helping #1) 3. Scale the protocol: make the protocol work for other apps that want to integrate, e.g. Base. There’s a bunch of work to do here, including Snapchain, Sign in with Farcaster, cheaper sign ups 4. Increase supply of content: understand pain points from people who produce content full-time / part-time and see if there’s a scalable way Farcaster can solve this.

One of farcaster’s long term goals should be to make it as easy as possible for anyone to use AI coding tools like replit to spin up a new interface on its social graph

🔥 $KAITO Airdrop Prediction: How Much Will Yappers Get? Let’s break it down: 33.3% of the total supply is allocated for airdrop, but it’s highly likely this will be distributed across multiple rounds rather than all at once. 👉 Season 1 (S1) Prediction: 10% for Yappers 2% for NFT holders Assuming 10% of the airdrop in S1, and with a FDV of $KAITO at $1.8 billion, each YAP could be worth around $76 (with the airdrop estimated for March 15th). At a higher distribution rate, if 15% is allocated in S1, each YAP could be valued at $115. However, for the project’s sustainable growth, it’s unlikely they’ll airdrop more than this amount. 💡 Key Variables Impacting Airdrop Value: - Airdrop rate (%) - FDV of $KAITO - Timing of the airdrop - Here’s the KAITO amount the top 20 Yappers might receive, based on YAP values of $100 and $250 (data from 0xjaypeg). @jessepollak ~ $2M5 👀

Worth checking the replies to see if someone you follow on X / Twitter is looking for an invite. (Please avoid inviting random users on the thread. But if someone looks interesting, might be worth DMing them.) https://x.com/farcaster_xyz/status/1889725141900542207

What are you most frustrated about re: Farcaster? If you could change one thing—what would it be and how would you do it?

Protocols, Farcaster, and the Importance of Collaboration to Improve Rules 🧵/4 First of all, let's understand what a protocol is. Protocols are a set of rules and guidelines that determine how data and information are transferred between systems and users. When we talk about a decentralized protocol, it means there's no central authority controlling it, and decision-making is distributed among users. Farcaster is one of these decentralized protocols, designed in the Web3 and blockchain world to create secure and open social networks and messaging platforms. This protocol allows us to communicate and control our own data without relying on centralized platforms. However, for this protocol to work properly, we need to understand and accept some basic principles.
