Farcaster和DeSo在做两个方向的探索。也许Farcaster更倾向于像Coinbase那样发展，合规的引入更多普通用户，而不在意去中心化和链上与否；而DeSo更倾向于像Binance/Blur那样发展，拥抱代币与投机，从第一天起就让持币者拥有平台所有权。

Farcaster is decentralized, no doubt about it. The storage is distributed, and anyone can build a client. Many point out that because it's not fully built on blockchain, they think Farcaster isn't decentralized enough. But remember, P2P is the original form of decentralization.

I am pretty bullish on farcaster simply because it initiated a new kind of behavior organically and then specullative activities follow.

In my view, Farcaster ecosystem is an experimental Layer 3 project on BASE that prioritizes "onchain primitives" and ease2use over decentralization, in contrast to L2/L1. Tbh there are not many primitives in this cycle, surprisingly I found high-quality content and onchain opportunities nowhere other than Farcaster.
