Pretty unrelated, but I remember hearing a Tiger interview years back. Talked about how he’d had a bad warmup. His dad had always instilled in him, did you achieve what you needed to? Yep, warmed up. Doesn’t matter if it was sloppy. Same idea, not the best workout but got it done

Yep. I've always told myself the same thing. 

A bad workout is better than no workout at all.
