If there is something I like about Christmas, it is without a doubt the Nativity scenes, but not just any ones, only those made of miniatures that try to recreate scenes faithfully and as realistically as possible, with wood, moss, lights simulating fires or small fountains...
When I was little, we used to set up one at home that I remember as gigantic, it didn't have nearly as much paraphernalia, but we set it up our way, we took lanterns and with the room dark, we illuminated the little figures that were projected on the wall, we simulated movement, we made the giant shadows and gave them voices, it was fun...
Today as an adult I still remember those memories when I see one like that I show you.
It has lights in the houses and the fire in the boiler, it had a fountain and it's enormous, is mounted in the 馃搷Palace of the Generalitat Valenciana, in the centre of Valencia. 4 replies
