Foundation is a good reminder that the future of art lies not in platforms, but in accessible utilities, protocols, and artist tooling. Anything centralized is a likely point of failure. 

Distribution demands decentralization.

I've been minting artwork on-chain. I've encountered that not only do the platforms out there not incorporate this and are built solely around off-chain storage, but some are, lazily, built in a way that actively discourages it. Both Manifold and Objkt, which people tout as artist friendly, both fail 100%. It's amazing that the GOOD tools are even really bad at this.
