There were fewer users, and fewer transactions happened today on Base. Both dropped a lot. There is, so the TVL of the project decreases, and the stablecoin bucks a little.

But wait positive news: revenue and profits were up nicely! The network had made more revenue despite low activity. And the average transaction cost to Ethereum (L1) also doubled (albeit still super cheap)

So in short: Less activity but way, way higher earnings for the network.
