I promised myself I wouldn’t collect these, but then I found some limited edition ones only sold in Hokkaido and I broke my resolve. Mokeke (モケケ) is an alien, which comes from a planet called Mokekenoke (モケケノケ星) and they love to give hugs and their arms have a little loop so you can make them hug objects. I’ve decided I will only buy ones that really call to me. So far, one has spoken to me.

These are adorable. It’s hard to resist limited editions, especially with such a cute backstory.
