My 9yo boy just discovered “the battle of polytopia” and is loving it. 
It reminds me the good old days of Warcraft. 

What are the new titles of this kind? I’m a little bit out of the gaming world by 2 decades at list 😅 and I suspect he’s not ready for retro-gaming.

What platform does he use? My 9 year old is getting into games a bit. We’ve really limited screens but right now he just has an iPad or school Chromebook. I’m thinking of getting him a switch

he is using only the iPad. it was my iPad, but since from September it's required by the school to have one, it became his iPad with his iCloud account.
