Longest race of the year ... so far. In the Sunburn Solstice, you run a 3.8K (2.4 mile) trail loop as many times as you can from exactly sunrise to sunset, on the longest day of the year (or the close Saturday to it). 124km completed, with receipts.

Wow. Amazing result!! Isn’t it boring to run the same short track over and over like an hamster? I hate the 10k races that you have to do the same 5k two times. I cannot even imagine what is to run 32 times the same loop…

It can be. It helps constantly seeing friendly faces and chatting with people, and that you are moving through forest trails rather than streets and sidewalks. But the repetition is definitely a mental toughness challenge.
