Would you just open the gates to everyone or give to everyone infinite invites? I think the chain of invitation has its reasons.. what do you think?

we'll get to permissionless sign ups later this year. need to experiment with smarter defaults and then figure out how to make that easy enough for any developer to follow without reliance on a centralized API.
