Some aspects of this map seem incorrect to me but it’s a interesting one either way thanks for sharing

Iran and Russia at least. I recognize that those countries have had regime and name changes in the last 100 years but the map says China is more then 100 years old when it is also a different regime and name then the one in 1925

Russia was URSS until the ‘90 (including a lot of other states)
The issue is not the name, but the borders. China didn’t change the borders.

you are right. I was not familiar with the Chinese small territories changes.

China did change the border in the incorporation of Hong Kong and Macau in this 100 year period not to mention Japanese control of parts of Manchuria which also are part of modern Chinese borders
