I’ve thought about this for over a decade and I still have not figured out the metrics that matter for a blockchain

As a fellow empiricist, my hot take is we really need user metrics for eth, and have everyone look at it.

If we had that chart we’d be a lot more aware of how useless blockchain has been.

Even TVL becomes constrained by users once it saturates. You need more users to provide more buy pressure to increase value.
