Because farcaster has no protocol level ties to degen then it’s not opinionated as to how degen operates on it. I’ve always had conflicting opinions about farcaster having no enshrined incentives or tokens. Degen seems to have filled the gap.

One thing I would like to see the farcaster protocol do is incentivize hub operation. As the network scales, I can imagine it will become quite expensive to run a hub, which then becomes a centralization vector.
